We'd rather have none than fake ones.
The locksmith industry has a serious credibility problem. Fabricated listings, invented testimonials, and purchased five-star reviews are common enough that Google applies extra verification to this category specifically and the FTC has published consumer warnings about it.
Against that background, a page of anonymous praise written by the business itself is worth exactly nothing. Anyone can write “Fast, friendly, great price — Sarah M.” It costs nothing and proves nothing.
So we don’t. Every review of Key Squad lives on a platform we don’t control, attached to an account we can’t edit, where you can read the bad ones alongside the good ones. That is the only kind of review that carries information.
Where to find real feedback
Look us up on Google, and read past the star rating to the actual text and the dates. Genuine review profiles have a spread of ratings, varying lengths, and a natural distribution over time. A perfect five-star record with twenty short reviews posted in the same week is a purchased one.
If a review platform link isn’t shown here yet, it’s because we’re not going to link to a profile that doesn’t have enough genuine reviews on it to be useful to you.
If we did work for you
Please leave an honest review — including if it wasn’t good. We would rather know about a job that went badly than have it quietly cost us the next ten customers.
We don’t offer discounts, gift cards, or anything else in exchange for reviews. Incentivised reviews violate the terms of every major platform, and under FTC rules they have to be disclosed as such — which rather defeats the point.
If something went wrong
Call us before you write anything. Our work carries a 12-month workmanship warranty, and if a key or module we programmed has failed because of our work, we’ll come back and fix it. Most complaints are solvable, and we would much rather solve yours than argue with it in public.
What you can hold us to
Not testimonials — commitments. These are the things you can check for yourself on any job we do.
The quote is the price
Firm number on the phone, including the call-out. If it changes when we arrive without a re-quote you agreed to first, you have a legitimate complaint.
We check your ID
Every time, on every vehicle. If a Key Squad technician ever opens a car without verifying ownership, we want to hear about it immediately.
We test before you pay
Start the car, restart from cold, cycle every remote function. Payment comes after it's proven to work, never before.
