I'm locked out of my EV and the 12-volt battery is dead. What now?
This is a genuine EV-specific problem. On several models the electronic door releases will not work without 12-volt power, and the access point for jumping it varies by manufacturer. Call with the model to hear whether it is openable or a manufacturer-specific recovery.
Do you program fobs for non-Tesla EVs?
Yes. Mach-E, Lightning, ID.4, Ioniq, EV6 and similar use conventional proximity fobs, supplied and programmed normally.
